• Competency-Based Education (CBC) Transition: The conference addressed the transition to CBC, with particular focus on its implications for senior secondary school programming and delivery.
•Education Financing & FDSE Crisis: There was disagreement among the members on the wide Free Day Secondary Education (FDSE) capitation lags—some schools owing Ksh 64 billion in arrears—raising alarm over sustainabilies.
• Innovation & Technology Integration: Sessions on how learning can be energized using digital means and innovation—particularly “Gen Z digital skills” and school-based ICT systems.
• School & Health Systems: The Health CS emphasized the strengthening of school health systems under SHA initiatives, with the focus on the leadership in promoting student wellbeing of teachers.
